How Can severe Ear Pain In A 4 Year Old Baby Be Treated?

My 4 year old granddaughter has had an earache since yesterday, I gave her some childerns advil two hours ago and she is still crying it won t stop hurting. When she complained she could not hear and her ear was wet I checked to see if she was ok and there is some blood coming from the ear. I should take her to the hospital to be checked or should a wait a while longer and see if it settles down
